Terms of service
Drafted 2026-09-18 · Pre-launch draft
These terms are a draft while the service is being prepared. Operator details, payment and refund terms, and the effective date will be finalized and provided before paid services launch.
1. Purpose and scope
ChartDoum uses AI to analyze chart photos uploaded by users and explain price action, key levels, and conditional interpretations. These terms set out the rights and obligations of the operator and users when using ChartDoum.
AI generates results automatically; no person writes, edits, or reviews individual results. They are technical interpretations of information visible in a photo, with no guarantee of profits or accurate price predictions. The service does not place orders or manage your assets.
2. Registration and accounts
You can register with Google or a verified email address. You must use an account you are authorized to use and must not impersonate others or access their accounts without permission. Apple sign-in will be added for the app-store release.
Sign-in only creates and protects an account. Previews and example access plans do not represent payment or a subscription.
3. Photos and analysis results
You must have the right to upload your photos. Remove information not needed for analysis, such as account numbers, order histories, and other people’s personal data, before uploading.
Image resolution, tilt, obstructions, the time of capture, and chart type can cause reading errors or missing information. Displayed prices refer to the time of the photo and may differ from live market prices.
You decide whether to invest or trade. This information does not exclude the operator’s liabilities or your rights under applicable law.
If number notation is ambiguous, the input may include your price confirmation as well as the photo. This is your input, not a review by an operator, and may be incorrect. Parsed observations and the confirmation request are held in server memory for up to 10 minutes to continue the analysis; photos are not kept for this step. They are deleted after use or expiry. Waiting for confirmation does not use an analysis credit.
4. Prices, subscriptions, and usage limits
Before paid sales begin, the plans page will show the selected payment provider's final total for your location in local currency with applicable tax. Preview and checkout will use the same product identifier, and the displayed amount will update if checkout recalculates location or tax.
When paid services begin, the service period, total amount, taxes, analysis limits and usage deductions, extra access conditions, automatic renewal, and next billing terms will be explained before payment. You can review these details before deciding to purchase.
Real payments are not connected yet, so the displayed prices do not result in actual charges. Usage limits, extra access options, deduction rules, and other details will be added to these terms and the purchase page before payments begin.
5. Cancellation, withdrawal, and refunds
If automatically renewing subscriptions are offered, the method and timing for stopping the next charge will be explained before purchase. Turning off renewal and refunding an existing payment are separate procedures. Remaining access and refunds will be handled according to the purchase terms and applicable law.
These terms do not limit statutory withdrawal or refund rights. Where withdrawal may be restricted, for example after digital content delivery begins, legally required notices and procedures will be followed. Using the service does not automatically make every payment non-refundable.
Instructions and refund conditions for each payment channel will be provided before purchase when real payments are connected. Questions about use or payments can be sent to chartdoum@gmail.com.
After at least one analysis included in a subscription or extra pack has been used, a voluntary change-of-mind refund is normally unavailable to the extent permitted by applicable law. This does not limit statutory rights or refunds for duplicate or unauthorized charges, failure to provide the paid service, or a refund required by the payment provider.
Where the law requires express consent before immediate digital service begins, checkout will ask for that consent and acknowledgement of any resulting loss of a withdrawal right before an analysis can be used.
6. Photo processing and usage records
Uploaded photos and analysis results are not stored on ChartDoum servers. Photos and inputs are sent to an external AI provider for analysis. The provider, data sent, and processing terms will be finalized and disclosed separately before the full service launches.
Results and reduced-size photos saved with Save on this device are stored in your browser. They may be lost if you clear browser data or change devices and do not automatically sync to another device.
Information needed to verify accounts and subscriptions and consented ad measurement data are separate from photo processing. Photos and analysis content are not used to measure ads. Personal-data processing details, including the data, purpose, and retention period, will be disclosed separately with any required consent process.
Current optional attribution tracking processes ad source, medium, campaign name, and a random session identifier only with consent. The cookie linking visits and new signups lasts 30 minutes, and temporary server linkage data is kept for up to 30 days. Statistics containing only dates, ad sources, and counts are retained separately for five-year viewing and older archives and are not automatically deleted.
Your attribution consent choice is stored in your browser. You can withdraw it through Attribution consent settings at the bottom of the page. Withdrawal stops further collection and removes visit and signup records that can still be linked through the current cookie, along with their totals. Historical statistics whose linkage has expired are not linked back to a person.
7. Use restrictions and service changes
We may restrict illegal uploads, infringement of others’ rights, account misuse, attacks on the system, or excessive load from unauthorized automation. We will explain the reason and how to appeal; urgent security action may be taken before notice.
Maintenance, outages, or problems with an external AI provider may delay or interrupt the service. Significant planned changes will be announced in advance. Interruptions or closure affecting paid access will be handled under applicable law and the contract terms.
8. Changes to these terms and contact
When these terms change, we will make the changes, reasons, and effective date available to users. Separate consent will be obtained where required, and changes will not be applied retroactively to users’ disadvantage contrary to law.
The service is called ChartDoum. Contact: chartdoum@gmail.com. The operator’s business name, representative, address, business details, and the effective date will be finalized and disclosed before paid sales begin.
If a dispute arises, you may contact us to discuss a resolution. These terms do not limit statutory consumer remedies or rights concerning the competent courts under applicable law.
